Common Questions
How do I get started?
Describe the problem in a message. Write to contact@ridoco.com or use the form on the contact page, and say what you have now and roughly when you need it.
What comes back is the free check: whether the job is worth doing and what it would cost. If it goes ahead, the scope, the price and the delivery date are put in writing before any work starts.
No turnaround is promised here. Ridoco is one person with no cover. Planned time away is announced in advance.
The check costs nothing and carries no obligation. It is one check per customer; "How many free checks do I get?" below sets out the limit.
What is a Care plan and what does it cost?
A Care plan is the looking after that happens once a site is live: updates, backups, monitoring and a named reply target. Three levels, monthly, including 21% VAT:
PlanIncl. VATExcl. VATWhat it covers
Care BasisEUR 47,19EUR 39Hosting, SSL and domain watched. Weekly backup. Monthly updates. Uptime monitoring that raises an alert on working days, not overnight.
Care StandardEUR 119,79EUR 99Daily backups, monthly updates, one hour of content changes each month, and a reply target of one working day.
Care+EUR 240,79EUR 199Weekly updates, three hours of changes each month that roll over once, and a reply target of the same working day.
The reply times are targets on working days, not a guaranteed desk. One person answers them. The scheduled work in the table happens either way. If a reply is going to miss its target you are told, and a month where it is badly missed is a month you are not billed for.
Some packages include Care already: Basic comes with 3 months of Care Basis, Advanced with 12 months of Care Standard, and Premium with 12 months of Care+. After the included period, continuing is your choice and not automatic.
What does a website cost?

Who owns the files when the job is done?
You do. The source files of a website are yours at handover, and branding files come with full usage rights transferred to you on final payment.
You get the high resolution output with transparent backgrounds, in every cut of the mark, plus the editable working files wherever the piece was built in a tool that produces one.
What you do not get is vector outlines. Vector conversion for large format print, signage, embroidery or cutting is not sold here, because it is not work this company can reliably deliver. If your printer needs vector, say so at the free check: you are told before you have paid for anything, and pointed at someone who does it.
Is Ridoco really one person?
Yes. It is an eenmanszaak in Cuijk, KvK 95439609, which is the Dutch form for a business with a single owner and no staff. The person who reads your email is the person doing the work and the person answerable for it.
Two divisions sell work: RidoIT for IT, security and websites, and Ridocr for brand identity and design. They are registered trade names of the same one person company, not separate firms.
What happens at the free check?
The problem gets looked at before anything is quoted. For a website that means your current site, your content and what the site has to achieve. For a security or systems job it means finding the cause.
You then get one of three answers, in writing:
A fixed price, a named delivery date and a stated number of revision rounds.
That the job is smaller than you thought, with the cheaper version named.
That it is not worth doing, or that someone else is a better fit for it. That answer costs you nothing.
What do I actually get at handover?
Handover is a step in the job. You get:
Every credential in your hands.
The source files. For branding, the high resolution output and print ready artwork, plus the editable working files wherever the piece was built in a tool that produces one.
A written handover note: what was built, what it runs on, and what was changed along the way.
One walkthrough session so you can edit the site yourself. Work after it is quoted like any other work.
Do I have to take a Care plan?
No. A Care plan is optional: your site keeps working and the files stay yours whether you take one or not.
What you give up is the looking after: monitoring, tested backups, updates being applied, and a reply target when you need something.
