EclipseCP setup
EclipseCP is the admin panel and CMS sold on doombringerz.com. Buy it there; have RidoIT put it on your hosting, configure it, prove it works, and hand it back with a written note. Fixed price, named delivery time. You do not need to have bought it yet to book the call.
You can do this yourself
First, in case you have landed here from somewhere else: EclipseCP is a one-time-purchase admin panel and CMS for Laravel hosting, and it is bought on doombringerz.com. Ridoco is the Dutch company that builds it. This page is not the product and does not sell it. What is sold here is the installation, by RidoIT, the IT side of that same company.
And the honest part goes first. EclipseCP ships a setup wizard that runs in your browser, and the install guide is public. There is no Composer step, no command line and no build step in a normal install. Most hosting already meets the requirements, and the wizard checks each one and tells you what to change.
What is sold here is the rest of it. The wizard cannot point your domain at the right folder, cannot fix a mail server that silently drops password resets, cannot set up the scheduled task, and cannot prove your backup restores. Those are the parts that go wrong quietly, weeks later. If you would rather hand the whole thing over and get back a working site, that is this page.
What the setup includes
Every item below is done and then checked. Nothing on this list is assumed to have worked because it did not throw an error.
Installed and pointed correctly
Files uploaded and extracted, and your domain pointed at the public folder rather than the folder above it. Get that one wrong and visitors see a file listing, and your settings file is readable by anyone. It is the single step the wizard cannot do for you.
Database chosen and connected
MySQL or MariaDB if you have one, or the simple file database if you do not. You are told which one suits your site and why.
HTTPS, settled
Certificate in place, HTTP redirected to HTTPS, and one of www or non-www chosen as the real address with the other redirecting to it. Two addresses serving the same site is how sessions and sign-ins break. Issuing the certificate needs your host and your DNS to cooperate, so if a CAA record or a host-side block stands in the way, you get told exactly which record has to change and who has to change it.
Mail that is tested, not assumed
Your sending details configured, then a real password reset requested and received in an inbox. Mail is the failure nobody notices until a customer cannot get back into their account. Where your host blocks outbound mail, which plenty of shared hosting does, it is wired to an external sending service instead and you are told before the job starts if that means a small monthly cost you do not have yet.
Scheduled tasks running
The one minute scheduler set up in your control panel. Without it, anything timed simply never happens, and it never says so. Some shared hosting caps cron at five or fifteen minutes, or blocks it outright. Your host is checked before the quote, and if the one minute interval is not available you are told what that changes and what the alternative is.
A backup that has been restored
First backup taken, then restored into a scratch copy to prove it is a real backup. A backup nobody has ever restored is a file, not a safety net. That needs a spare database and somewhere to put the copy. If your plan has neither, the restore is proved on separate hardware from your backup file instead, and you get the evidence from that.
Your licence, applied
Your EclipseCP licence key entered and confirmed as accepted. Ridoco does not sell the licence and never holds it longer than the job.
Owner account handed to you
The owner account is created in your name, on your email, with a password you set. No account is kept on your site after handover unless you put the site on a Care plan and ask for one.
A written handover
One document: where every setting lives, which control panel does what, how to take a backup, and what to check first if something breaks. Written so you can hand it to somebody else.
What you provide
Short list, and none of it is a surprise on the day. If something here is missing you will hear it on the call, not mid-job.
Hosting
A hosting account that runs PHP 8.2 or newer, with a file manager or FTP, and the ability to set the document root. Almost all shared hosting qualifies. Ridoco does not host your site, and you will get an honest answer if the plan you have is not up to it.
A domain, and its DNS
The domain you want the site on, and access to change its DNS records, or somebody who can change them for you while the call is running.
A database, or not
If you want MySQL or MariaDB, create an empty one and have the name, user and password ready. If you have no idea what that means, say so and the simple file database is used instead, which needs nothing.
Mail details
The SMTP details for the address the site should send from. If you do not have any, you will be told exactly what to ask your host for.
Your EclipseCP download and licence key
Both come from doombringerz.com when you buy the product. This service does not include the licence and does not resell it.
A way in
Control panel login, or FTP, or SSH. Send it once, through a method agreed on the call. Every credential you hand over is deleted at this end when the job is signed off.
Price
Two fixed prices and one that is genuinely quoted. The two fixed ones are the same figures as the matching website packages. They are the same size of job.

Install and setup

- Sign-in methods connected, and a payment provider wired up and tested once the provider has approved your account. Mollie and Stripe run their own checks on you and can take weeks or say no. That approval is theirs to give, not Ridoco's, and the rest of the job does not wait on it
- One revision round after handover
- Live in 10 working days, counted from the day the hosting login, the domain access, the licence key and your page text have all arrived
Migration
- Moving an existing site onto EclipseCP
- Pages, users, files and history, as far as they can be moved
- The old site stays up until the new one is signed off
- No figure is published for this one. The work depends entirely on what the old site is built on and how much of it can be moved without retyping. Naming a figure before looking at it would be a guess with your money in it.
Not included in any of the three: the EclipseCP licence itself, which is bought on doombringerz.com; your hosting; your domain; and a custom design. After handover you can keep the site on a Care plan from EUR 47,19 a month, or run it yourself. See Care plans.
What you are asked before the work starts
These are the questions, in full, in advance. Answer them when you book and they are not asked again. If you do not know an answer, write that instead of guessing, and it gets worked out on the call.
Asked of everyone
- Where is the site hosted, and which control panel does it use?
- Which PHP version is available on that hosting?
- Which domain should it run on, and who can change the DNS?
- Database: MySQL or MariaDB, or the simple file database?
- Do you already have your EclipseCP download and licence key?
- How will you send the access over, and who receives the handover?
- Is there a date you need it live by?
Also asked for Install and setup
- Your logo files, and the two colours the site should use.
- Which pages you want on day one, and the wording for them.
- Which sign-in methods, and which payment provider if any.
Also asked for a Migration
- What is the current site built on, and which parts have to come across?
- Does the current site have to stay up while it is moved?

How it runs
Four steps, and you know at the end of step one what it costs and when it lands.
Book the call
25 minutes, no cost. A run through the list above, a look at your hosting, and agreement on which of the three this is. You get the price and the date in writing after it.
Send access
Hosting login, domain access, licence key, and on Install and setup your page text as well. That tier builds pages out of it. The clock starts the day the last of those arrives, not the day you booked.
Installation
5 working days for Install, 10 for Install and setup. You get a message when it is live on a test address, before anything points at your real domain.
Handover
The written note, the owner account in your name, and a call to walk through it. That access is removed unless you put the site on a Care plan.
One person does this work, and you speak to that person the whole way through. There is no round the clock line: the work happens in weekday office hours, Dutch time. You are told when to expect an answer.
Hand it over and get back a working site
Book the setup call. If it turns out you are better off installing it yourself, you will hear that on the call and it will still have cost you nothing.
